About the role
- Marathon Petroleum Company LP has openings for Craft Maintenance Interns at its refinery in Robinson, Illinois.
- You will gain knowledge of various aspects of a refinery by working with a team of professionals who are critical to plant maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Supports Craftsmen in the installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of field instruments, including transmitters, transducers, controllers, switches, solenoids, relays, control valves, regulators, actuators, positioners, and instrument loops.
- Supports general electrical maintenance tasks, including wiring repairs, lighting, and circuit breaker upkeep, to ensure continued operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Minimum (Required) Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Enrollment in a two-year Advanced Manufacturing Automation program, electrical, instrumentation, analyzer, or similar programs
- Good academic standing (minimum 2.0 GPA)
- A valid driver's license
Nice to have
- Assists with interpreting and utilizing electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and operates electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
