About the role
- WindWright, a subsidiary of Stratolaunch, accelerates hypersonic development by improving the capacity and capabilities of ground test facilities using digital engineering environments.
- WindWright's digital engineering framework also enables efficient test planning, rapid test data review, and deeper analysis of the test results, leading to reduced customer costs and risks.
- Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining control systems drawings and schematics, installing and testing controls hardware, and supporting instrumentation calibration.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed control system drawings, including DIN rails, junction boxes, cable runs, and wire harnesses
- Assist in building, installing, and testing controls hardware as needed
- Support instrument calibrations as needed
- Support bench tests to validate control system functionality as needed
- Support the preparation of business proposals to the US Government and industry
- Travel, as needed, to support the company
- Identify, document, and communicate design requirements, constraints, and risks
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN)
- Strong understanding of electrical and control systems design principles
- Ability to obtain a security clearance at the TS/SCI level

Nice to have
- Experience with wire pulls and terminations
- Proficiency in installing fiber optic cable
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Required Computer
- Required Computer Skills:
- 2-4 years of experience in drafting for control systems or electrical design
Skills
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software tools
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Education/experience/certifications
