Burke's seeks a music lesson instructor in our After School Music program, offering private piano, guitar, drums, and/or voice lessons to individual students in grades K-8.

Any offer of employment will be contingent upon the completion of required employment verifications.

Position Summary Burke's seeks a music lesson instructor in our After School Music program, offering private piano, guitar, drums, and/or voice lessons to individual students in grades K-8.
First and foremost, we hope to introduce and nurture a joyful relationship with each instrument for our students, setting them up for a lifelong love of music.
Instructors may draw on classical training or music choices that reflect student interests.
While teaching theory and technique, our instructors emphasize the importance of fun and the student-teacher relationship.
We love to welcome professional, practicing musicians to our program and can offer flexibility in regard to performances and tours.
Offer recitals as planned by the After School Music Program manager Communication:
Effective communication with the After School Music Program manager and the After School staff.
Timely and supportive communication with students, parents, and caregivers to foster a strong partnership with families

Compensation Burke's pays $75 an hour for this position.
