About the role
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join a growing data team.
- Integrate data from diverse sources including APIs, flat files, and databases into centralized data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake, Informatica, and AWS Glue.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, including schema design, clustering, and performance tuning.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define data models, and deliver business-critical insights.
- Lead or contribute to cloud migration and modernization projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Skills
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning, Time Travel, Cloning, and security policies.
- Proficiency in Informatica or similar ETL tools.
- Experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift) and/or Azure Databricks.
- Solid understanding of SQL, Python, and Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques such as dimensional modeling and star/snowflake schema.
- Experience with version control tools like GitHub and agile collaboration tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance and scalability.
- SnowPro Core Certification.
- Certifications in Informatica, AWS, or Agile methodologies.
- Experience in life sciences, banking, or telecom domains.
- Communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Oracle HCM integration or data extraction.
