About the role

  • Syner-G is seeking a Sr.
  • Project Coordinator to provide advanced organizational, administrative, and field-level support for construction and maintenance projects with a strong emphasis on health and safety.
  • The ideal candidate brings prior coordination experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting safe and efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Capital Project Management and Facilities Project Management with safety-related tasks during construction phases and occasionally during design and planning.
  • Maintain and update project schedules, trackers, logs, and documentation related to safety activities, inspections, and contractor compliance.
  • Participate in site walks with field safety professionals to document observations, track corrective actions, and ensure hazards are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Support participation in inspections, informal conferences, and meetings with governing entities or insurers when requested.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with project teams, contractor safety representatives, and internal stakeholders to support effective communication and alignment.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for safety-related training, briefings, and documentation distribution.

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Lead the organization and facilitation of pre-construction planning meetings, ensuring required materials and documentation are prepared and distributed.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer keyboard and mouse; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk and sit, as well as to lift and carry objects such as books and files weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, stoop, or kneel.

Nice to have

  • 2-5 years of experience as a project coordinator or in a similar coordination or administrative role.
  • Experience supporting construction project delivery or working in a construction-related environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of safety and environmental principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • experience with project management or safety software is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management or safety software is a plus.

Compensation

  • The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 yearly. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
  • Currently, Syner-G is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
  • Syner-G is an E-Verify employer.
  • This includes a market competitive base salary and annual incentive plan, robust benefit offerings, and ongoing recognition and career development opportunities.
  • The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 yearly.
