About the role

Responsibilities
- Join us in building the next generation of spacecraft.
- Ownership - Own and operate the purchasing system and procurement processes that support spacecraft development and manufacturing
- Own the end-to-end purchasing process that directly supports spacecraft development and manufacturing
- Manage supplier relationships, purchase orders, lead times, and procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted support of engineering and production programs
- Ensure engineers have the right parts, materials, and services on time to meet aggressive build and test schedules
- Manage shipping and receiving process for hardware and items that are purchased
- Experience working directly with suppliers to obtain quotations, manage deliveries, and resolve procurement issues
- Experience supporting R&D, prototype builds, or low-rate production
Requirements
- To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or sourcing operations
- Experience with supplier onboarding, vendor performance tracking, and strategic sourcing initiatives
Compensation
- $50,000 - 100,000
- The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors.
- Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
- Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Quantum Space's total compensation package.
