This individual ensures that the corporate network is maintained in optimal working order.
This is a "hands on" position that requires strong PC, server and networking technical skills, the patience to work with users of all skill levels, and the ability to work on numerous assignments concurrently.
Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
Strategic planning of future network upgrades.
Model and forecast WAN/LAN traffic to ensure sufficient capacity is in place to meet growth.
Ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains acceptance and approval.
Thorough understanding of WAN infrastructure.
Hands on experience with LAN/WAN operations and networking protocols.
