About the role

  • The overall focus of the Charles lab is to decrease the global burden of mucosal and enteric infections affecting resource-poor and marginalized populations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead scientific analysis, abstract submissions, and manuscript development for 1-2 projects at a time
  • Ensure research integrity, including data documentation and data management, by developing best practices, provide ongoing training, and monitoring for adherence
  • Manage and participate in collaborative grant-writing projects
  • o Deliver new employee training

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in an academic, research, or related setting
  • Experience in flow cytometry required
  • Experience in other immunological assays (e.g. ELISA, muliplex-bead based assays)
  • Strong track record of publications
  • Time management skills with the capability to prioritize among multiple requests from multiple individuals and the ability to change direction in response to a fluctuating work environment

Compensation

  • The salary for this position starts at $79,199.00
