About the role

- The overall focus of the Charles lab is to decrease the global burden of mucosal and enteric infections affecting resource-poor and marginalized populations.
Responsibilities
- Lead scientific analysis, abstract submissions, and manuscript development for 1-2 projects at a time
- Ensure research integrity, including data documentation and data management, by developing best practices, provide ongoing training, and monitoring for adherence
- Manage and participate in collaborative grant-writing projects
- o Deliver new employee training
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in an academic, research, or related setting
- Experience in flow cytometry required
- Experience in other immunological assays (e.g. ELISA, muliplex-bead based assays)
- Strong track record of publications
- Time management skills with the capability to prioritize among multiple requests from multiple individuals and the ability to change direction in response to a fluctuating work environment

- Ability to work successfully in a collaborative environment
- High personal work standards and sense of urgency about results
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the group in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to code in R or in python

Compensation
- The salary for this position starts at $79,199.00
