About the role

  • The Production Technician is responsible for assembling small mechanical components, performing quality checks, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in medical device manufacturing with strong potential for full-time conversion.
  • This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to convert to a regular employee.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and perform in-process quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Train and support team members on job tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace to support efficient and safe production.

Requirements

  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle small tools and assemble precision components.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, and crouch throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to read and follow written procedures in English.
  • Complete required documentation and basic administrative tasks accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking.
  • Experience with small parts assembly, medical device manufacturing, cleanroom environments, or other regulated industries is a plus.
  • Location & Work Arrangement:
  • This position is based in Bedford, Massachusetts (near Boston) and is an onsite role.
