Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
  • Build rapport and establish a positive, therapeutic relationship with patients and their caregivers.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review and update behavior intervention plans.

Requirements

  • Experience as an RBT is great but NOT required.
  • Experience and a passion for working with children!
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and sit on the floor for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to move quickly in response to patient needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field preferred for entry level BT roles. Psychology degree helpful.
  • Available Monday - Friday from 7:45am -4:30pm.
  • Experience and a passion for working with children! Prior experience in the following areas has proven to be successful for RBTs: Childcare Provider, Nanny, Daycare Teacher, Teachers Assistant, SpEd Teacher, Special Education, Summer Camp Counselor, Swim Teacher, Coach, Mental Health Technician, Pediatric Therapist, Pediatric Nurse, ABA Therapist, Behavior Therapist, degree in Psychology.

Compensation

  • In this position, BT/RBT's will be eligible to participate in Bloomwell's long-term incentive plan.
  • In total, teammates have the opportunity to earn up to $10,800 in bonus, in addition to hourly at each progression wage increases.
