About the role

  • This position is responsible for supervising the everyday operation and upkeep of equipment and buildings, project planning and implementation, and safety issues within and around the plant.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm.
  • However, hours may vary based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Available to work to support business needs and/or critical situations.
  • Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
  • Perform assigned duties following "Good Manufacturing Practices."
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Employment is subject to verification of an applicant's identity and eligibility for employment in the United States as required by immigration laws.
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of safety areas reviewed in the safety orientation program.

Nice to have

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in plant maintenance or equivalent.
  • Wastewater operations experience, preferred.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc)
  • Excellent troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to work well with people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with little supervision.
  • Intimate knowledge of equipment and building.
  • Must be self motivated.
