About the role

Our team will give you this opportunity, in addition, we provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA).
You will keep JCI, contractors, and the customer advised of job progress and issues as needed.
Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure the facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.

Apprentices will participate in certified training through Service Technical Academy that will build skill sets to provide continued opportunities for recognition, monetary rewards and advancement.
Through coaching and mentorship, apprentices will develop skills to troubleshoot and resolve both technical issues as well as customer needs.
Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
Leadership skills to support the activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical mechanical HVAC equipment on a job site Self-starter with ability to eventually work independently.
The Union has its own entry, qualification & screening programs.
Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.

You will meet attendance requirements for required Union training for first year.
What we look for Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.

Preferred 1-2 years of trade school or college in a technical emphasis. *This is a Bargaining Unit Position.
