About the role
- Our team will give you this opportunity, in addition, we provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA).
- You will keep JCI, contractors, and the customer advised of job progress and issues as needed.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure the facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.

- Apprentices will participate in certified training through Service Technical Academy that will build skill sets to provide continued opportunities for recognition, monetary rewards and advancement.
- Through coaching and mentorship, apprentices will develop skills to troubleshoot and resolve both technical issues as well as customer needs.
- Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
- Leadership skills to support the activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical mechanical HVAC equipment on a job site Self-starter with ability to eventually work independently.
- The Union has its own entry, qualification & screening programs.
- Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
Requirements
- You will meet attendance requirements for required Union training for first year.
- What we look for Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
Nice to have
- Preferred 1-2 years of trade school or college in a technical emphasis. *This is a Bargaining Unit Position.
