About the role
- The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for supporting and executing all aspects of food & beverage operations, including concessions, premium hospitality and catering services.
- The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality leader with a strong background in high volume event operations and premium service environments.
- Oversees all food & beverage operations and execution for assigned events including concessions, bars, premium hospitality, and catering services.
Responsibilities
- Inspects and tastes prepared foods to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations
- Develops and implements work plans including scheduling and ordering, and assigns appropriate duties to subordinates
- Supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting by monitoring food sales, labor costs, attendance, inventory, and operating results while maintaining established food and labor cost targets
- Develops menus/themes for the event and establishes pricing for services
- Maintains inventory control
- Coaches, develops, and mentors hourly bartenders and other hourly event staff
Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including many nights, weekends and holidays throughout the year
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.

- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience in food & beverage operations, hospitality, catering, or a related field.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Food & Beverage Management or related field preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
