- The successful incumbent will provide triage and care to the pregnant woman throughout labour and birth including vaginal and Caesarean deliveries, recovery of the Caesarean mother, and maternal and newborn care within the LBRP model.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to assist and support breastfeeding
Requirements
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
- Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Obstetrics (including intra-partum care) required
- Current Obstetric O.R. certificate and/or experience required
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification required
- Breastfeeding certificate required
Compensation
- $41.15 to $58.98 per hour
