About the role

  • The Touch-Up / Rework Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and reworking printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and mechanical assemblies that do not meet quality standards.
  • This position requires strong soldering skills, the ability to interpret engineering documentation, and experience performing precision repairs on electronic assemblies using hand tools and specialized equipment.

Requirements

  • Support debug and test teams by troubleshooting assembly failures when required
  • Experience performing soldering and rework on electronic assemblies
  • Ability to work under microscope for fine-pitch components
  • Familiarity with SMT and through-hole component repair
  • Candidates are not required to disclose criminal history or participate in a background check unless and until a conditional offer of employment has been made.

Nice to have

  • IPC certification such as IPC‑A‑610 or IPC‑7711/7721
  • Experience with BGA/QFN component rework
  • Prior work in electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing
  • Experience supporting failure analysis or debug teams
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work under magnification for detailed work
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally

Compensation

  • $26 - $30 USD
