About the role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Aviation Underwriter to join our dynamic Aviation Insurance team.
- The successful candidate will assess and analyze aviation insurance risks, determine appropriate coverage terms, and participate in the growth and profitability of our aviation portfolio.
- This role involves close collaboration with brokers, clients, and internal teams to provide best-in-class underwriting solutions for various aviation risks, including airlines, general aviation, aerospace manufacturers, and aviation service providers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with brokers, agents, and clients to drive portfolio growth and enhance customer satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise underwriting recommendations and pricing proposals
- Monitor and manage individual portfolio performance, including premium and loss ratios

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in insurance, business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- A minimum of years' experience in commercial insurance underwriting, preferably in aviation or specialty lines
- Proven negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and underwriting/CRM software
