About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Aviation Underwriter to join our dynamic Aviation Insurance team.
The successful candidate will assess and analyze aviation insurance risks, determine appropriate coverage terms, and participate in the growth and profitability of our aviation portfolio.
This role involves close collaboration with brokers, clients, and internal teams to provide best-in-class underwriting solutions for various aviation risks, including airlines, general aviation, aerospace manufacturers, and aviation service providers.

Develop and maintain productive relationships with brokers, agents, and clients to drive portfolio growth and enhance customer satisfaction
Prepare and deliver clear, concise underwriting recommendations and pricing proposals
Monitor and manage individual portfolio performance, including premium and loss ratios

Bachelor's degree in insurance, business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
A minimum of years' experience in commercial insurance underwriting, preferably in aviation or specialty lines
Proven negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and underwriting/CRM software
