The Strategic Account Manager role is responsible for growing strategic market sales through development, management, and expansion of national accounts within the construction market.

Develop and execute strategic plans that increase brand awareness, product presence and revenue generation for all company products and services
Develop and execute specific marketing and sales-oriented programs to support key corporate initiatives or product launches
Identify and maintain knowledge of all current business with key accounts in market segment
Manage all aspects of key account sales data. Be able to spot trends and identify potential early warning signs with vulnerable accounts to proactively mitigate risk

Bachelor's degree
8+ years hands on B to B sales experience
5+ years managing construction accounts
3+ years managing national accounts
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
Ability to travel 50-70% / year
Proven experience in using metrics to manage
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and CRM (Salesforce.com), familiarity using AI tools
Minimum of 4 trips/year to Grand Rapids, MI to connect with the corporate office and staff (if remote)
