  • Job Description: Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Junior Trainer to join our team, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and execute instructor-led and web-based training programs to support VHA operational and clinical initiatives.
  • Develop, update, and maintain training curricula, workbooks, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and other instructional resources.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage training databases and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
  • Deliver engaging face-to-face, virtual, and online training sessions to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Assist with test administration activities, user readiness efforts, and training-related support for system implementations and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, clinical personnel, and project teams to ensure training content reflects current workflows, policies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and briefings to leadership, staff, and end users as required.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with change management, user adoption, and organizational readiness activities.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools, and training development software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.

Compensation

  • The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
  • $65,000 - $85,000
  • Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.
