About the role
- The Material Handler position requires high attention to detail and ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures specific to this position.
- Lift and move boxes to and/or from the scanning lines
- Open boxes (or other containers) of returned/recalled items with a box cutter
Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Under direct supervision, a Material Handler in warehouse operations is responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the processing of returned/recalled items on behalf of a retailer or manufacturer.
- Always maintain a clean and orderly workstation and area
Requirements
- High School (or its equivalent) or minimum of two year's work experience in a warehouse or production job
- or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position required
