About the role
- You will act as the tip of the spear for our go-to-market efforts.
- By rapidly prototyping, integrating with legacy data streams, and shipping production-ready code, you will directly convert operational bottlenecks into scalable platform features.
Responsibilities
- Build enterprise deployments
- Rapidly build and deploy product capabilities that unblock strategic enterprise deals, prove undeniable value, and accelerate revenue.
- Create the forward-deployed foundation for the company
- Build the machine that builds the machine. Create the internal tooling, reusable components, and automated workflows that will allow the forward-deployed engineering team to scale rapidly.
- Document systems, tooling, and architecture to scale with the forward-deployed engineering function.
- Define how forward-deployed engineering partners with product, engineering, and sales.
- Daily meals in-office, vibrant company events, team-building
- As the first engineer in this function, you will define how Voxel ships software to the field and build the technical foundation necessary to scale our deployment velocity.
Requirements
- High velocity, generalist engineering capability with a track record of independently shipping production-ready software, with expertise in either Full-Stack Engineering or Perception Engineering.
- Ability to move from idea to implementation with minimal structure.
- You are comfortable sitting in a room with enterprise operators, understanding their systemic bottlenecks, and translating that into code by the end of the day.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus.
