About the role

Success in this position requires strong relationship management skills, a proactive sales mindset, and a passion for consumer packaged goods.

Manage and grow sales within assigned accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets
Identify and develop new business opportunities within retail and food service channels
Develop pricing strategies and order guides aligned with market conditions and company objectives
Work closely with buyers, operations teams, and sales support staff to ensure smooth order fulfillment
Maintain compliance with company quality and food safety standards
Merchandise and build in store displays
Travel throughout designated territory to support customer relationships and business development
This role focuses on expanding market presence, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong partnerships with retail and food service customers across the assigned territory.
The Account Manager will work closely with customers to understand their needs, develop profitable product programs, and ensure exceptional service and execution.
This position collaborates closely with internal teams including buyers, operations, and sales support to ensure product availability, competitive pricing strategies, and consistent delivery of high-quality products.

Minimum 2 years of experience in retail account management, CPG sales, or similar sales role.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Experience selling into grocery or retail produce departments.
Knowledge of bulk foods and beverage category.
Track record of growing sales within existing customer accounts
Resourceful, creative, and solutions-oriented problem solver.
