About the role

  • In this role, you will apply strong product and program management skills to keep a multi-module software team focused, organized, and on schedule.
  • You will share clear status with leadership, raise risks early, and help shape what gets built next.
  • This role is based at ICON's Austin, TX office and reports to the Director of Digital Product Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Help break large goals into sprint-ready work with engineering leads.
  • Capacity and Quarterly Planning: Model capacity, sequence work, and check timelines during quarterly planning. Watch for workload that may lead to burnout and raise it early.
  • Mentorship and Cross-Functional Leadership: Coach other program managers and partners on planning practices that work. Advise cross-functional partners on delivery and prioritization questions.

Requirements

  • Track record running delivery for a software product with multiple teams or modules.
  • You have managed backlogs, sprint plans, and roadmaps at scale.
  • Experience coordinating work between software and hardware, operations, or field teams.
  • You can share a short update with a VP and dig into scope with an engineer in the same hour.
  • Comfort with shifting priorities.
  • Working knowledge of agile practices.
  • Ability to explain delivery status and tradeoffs to non-technical audiences and senior
  • Experience with products used in the field rather than at a desk, and the design choices

Skills

  • Experience in construction technology, robotics, manufacturing, or another physical-
  • Background in technical program management at a growing company.
  • Familiarity with construction workflows, BIM tools, or field operations software.
  • Experience with government or defense contracts and their compliance needs.
  • Experience modeling capacity for small and mid-size teams.
