About the role
- This role combines hands-on plant production with technical ownership and coordination of seasonal staff.
- You will take responsibility for plant performance, ensuring plants meet standards for quality, uniformity, timing, and customer readiness.
- In addition to executing established systems, this role is expected to think critically about plant performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to strengthening greenhouse production practices over time.
Responsibilities
- Document plant movement, losses, and key production observations to support accurate forecasting and scheduling.
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe greenhouse and outdoor production areas.
- Collaborate with the Production Supervisor and Data Specialist to align plant performance with production schedules, as well as the Greenhouse Production Lead to ensure a seamless flow of plants through production from beginning to end.
- Ability to identify problems early and implement practical solutions independently.
- We also support solar and infrastructure projects with pollinator-friendly practices and land stewardship expertise.
Requirements
- What You Will Need To Be Successful 2+ years of experience in perennial production within a commercial greenhouse setting.
