About the role
- This work would be done under the supervision of the Early Birds Director, or Program Manager.
- This position involves continuing to integrate more fully the principles of Early Intervention (EI) and Developmental Relationship-Based Interventions (DRBI) provided in supervision and during staff trainings.
- To qualify for this position, the expectation is that the employee would quickly become well-versed in the basics of Early Intervention and have an extensive background in working with children aged Birth to 3 years old.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree is required
- Must have experience working with 0-3 and some experience working with infants/toddlers with or at risk for developmental delays/disabilities
Nice to have
- Carry out home sessions using EI principles specifically tailored to the child, under the
- Provide services in Spanish when this is the child or family's preferred language.
- Train in and carry out evaluations for Early Birds including the DAY-C.
- Train in and eventually write assessments and any other clinical notes on the children seen.
- Participate in EI supervision with notes, questions, and video clips as requested by your
- Make calls to families to arrange for scheduling, find mutually agreeable times for groups, and organize any other logistical details.
- Attend monthly staff and training meetings and be prepared to contribute to discussions on
