About the role
- A&C Plastics is seeking a hands-on Delivery Supervisor to oversee our Houston delivery operations.
- This role is responsible for leading our team of delivery drivers, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while providing exceptional customer service.
- The ideal candidate enjoys being on the warehouse floor, coaching employees, solving problems, and leading by example.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily local delivery operations and driver schedules.
- Lead daily driver meetings and provide ongoing coaching and training.
- Maintain high standards for safety, compliance, and customer service.
- Partner with Warehouse, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure excellent customer experiences.
- Maintain fleet readiness, vehicle inspections, and DOT compliance.
- 🤝 Work Buddy Program - Paired with a veteran teammate for guidance, support, and company-paid lunches at 45 & 90 days

Requirements
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in delivery, transportation, logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have
- Experience with route planning or dispatch is preferred.
- Forklift and warehouse experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
Compensation
- 5 days per year
