About the role
- This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys mentoring people, solving problems, and keeping equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily maintenance department activities, including training, scheduling, work methods, and performance management
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot plant equipment to ensure reliable operation
- Manage warehouse inventory, including purchase orders for parts and supplies
- Collaborate with operations and other departments to support plant goals
- Attend company meetings and perform other duties as assigned
- Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Superintendent to lead our maintenance and instrumentation operations in Hastings.

Nice to have
- Technical school or college degree preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of maintenance and supervisory experience preferred
- Soy processing or similar industrial processing experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- AutoCAD experience preferred
Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
- Ability to operate industrial machinery, hand tools, and power tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; AutoCAD experience preferred
