About the role
- The Cardiac Rehab RN is responsible for providing monitoring and educational services to assist patients in reaching maximum performance for patients who have experienced an MI, Coronary Surgery, stable Angina and/or other specific cardiopulmonary conditions. Responsibilities
- Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
- Develops exercise prescriptions, rehabilitation plans and behavior modification programs within accepted standards of care.
- Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development; meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
