- We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Electrician to join our team.
- The Service Electrician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and light industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform service calls, repairs, and maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and components
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before they escalate
- Complete service reports, document work performed, and maintain accurate records
- Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment in an organized and safe condition
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and represent the company positively in the field
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying environmental conditions
- Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and service vehicles
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in commercial or light industrial electrical service, maintenance, or repair
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, NEC code requirements, and safety standards
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed, including after-hours when required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicle may be provided)
Nice to have
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred (if required by state/local regulations)
- Experience working in occupied commercial or industrial facilities preferred
