- Job Description Summary: The Manufacturing Systems Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving manufacturing equipment, test systems, and supporting infrastructure.
- This role ensures high equipment uptime through preventive maintenance, rapid response to downtime events, and continuous improvement of system reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on manufacturing and test equipment
- Track PM completion, document findings, and update maintenance records
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Support setup, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve system performance
- Support change implementation and configuration updates
- Maintain connectivity of production equipment (ethernet, basic networking)
- System & Process Support
- IT / Network Support (Light Industrial IT)
- Support system imaging, software updates, and user access as needed
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent repair/maintenance experience in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or technical support in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Escalate complex issues and coordinate with engineering when required
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
