About the role

  • As a Child and Adolescent Intake Therapist at Blackbird Health, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality intake evaluations and ongoing therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Quality Intake Evaluations: Lead individual telehealth intake sessions for youth ages 2-26, using evidence-based assessment practices tailored to each patient's developmental stage and unique needs.
  • Provide Ongoing Therapy: Build strong, consistent therapeutic relationships with patients over time - delivering individual evidence-based therapy and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of patient progress.
  • Build Meaningful Connections: Spend the necessary time with patients and families to truly understand their experiences, educate them about therapeutic approaches available at Blackbird, and provide a warm, supportive entry point into care that carries through their entire journey.
  • Drive Strong Clinical Matches & Progress: Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans that ensure each patient is connected to the right treatment approach - then see it through by monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.
  • Maintain Clinical Excellence: Maintain thorough intake and ongoing documentation and patient records. Strive for the highest clinical and technical quality in all aspects of your work.
  • Partner with Families: Involve and advise family members and outside specialists when appropriate throughout the care journey.
  • We believe that providing the best care for children starts with building the best possible team.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and adolescent patients
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting

Skills

  • Participate in optional weekly clinical consultations to enhance your clinical skills.

Compensation

  • $50,000 - $100,000 USD
