About the role

  • About You You are a Computational Fluid Dynamicist writing flow solvers for complex geometry applications.
  • Examples of such applications include external flows over moving vehicles (planes, missiles, automobiles etc), flow through machinery such as ducts, turbo-machinery, refrigeration systems, computer heat sinks etc.
  • You are excited when you hear phrases like conjugate heat transfer, multi-physics applications, complex geometries.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience developing and shipping products
  • 2+ years of experience working on GPU solvers.
  • Experience with Finite Volume incompressible flow solver techniques, linear solver methods and libraries
  • Experience architecting, training and deploying a feature in resource constrained environments.
  • Experience with the related technologies, libraries, and languages: C++, CUDA, Python
  • You are excited about entrepreneurship, taking things from 0 to 1, and have a continuous learning mindset.
  • You are excited about building a solver that will increase engineer productivity by orders of magnitude
  • Location

Skills

  • Experience with standard modern software development tools and practices.
  • Experience with multi-physics solver development is an advantage
  • Experience with Immersed Boundary Methods is a strong advantage.
  • Startup experience is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with Scientific Machine Learning techniques is a definite advantage.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy codes to simulate single and multi-physics (Conjugate Heat Transfer) configurations
  • Ensure performant code on modern architectures like GPUs
  • Implement methods to reduce time to solution such as advanced linear and nonlinear solvers
  • Assist in the strategy, planning the product roadmap, and prioritize the development in partnership with early customers and design partners
  • Build and ship critical product features
