About the role

  • The Senior Manager will play a key role in achieving our 80% job attainment goal per cohort while strengthening Per Scholas' influence in workforce development.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with local and national employers to secure job placements.
  • Lead research, sector analysis, and pitch development to drive strategic placement initiatives.
  • Career Advisement & Alumni Support (50%)
  • Lead alumni engagement programs and workshops to ensure ongoing career support.
  • Support managers in delivering high-quality career advisement and alumni support.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Free, confidential, 24/7 access to counseling, legal support, and financial resources for employees and their household members

Requirements

  • Experience in HR, recruiting, career development, workforce development, or business development.
  • Proven success in talent placement, employer engagement, and job readiness.
  • familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Strong network and ability to build new employer partnerships.
  • Data-savvy and metrics-oriented
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using social media and digital tools for outreach, including HubSpot.

  • Collaborative and flexible, able to work cross-functionally while driving independent initiatives.

Compensation

  • For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary range between $65,000/year and $70,000/year.
