About the role
- The Senior Manager will play a key role in achieving our 80% job attainment goal per cohort while strengthening Per Scholas' influence in workforce development.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with local and national employers to secure job placements.
- Lead research, sector analysis, and pitch development to drive strategic placement initiatives.
- Career Advisement & Alumni Support (50%)
- Lead alumni engagement programs and workshops to ensure ongoing career support.
- Support managers in delivering high-quality career advisement and alumni support.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Free, confidential, 24/7 access to counseling, legal support, and financial resources for employees and their household members
Requirements
- Experience in HR, recruiting, career development, workforce development, or business development.
- Proven success in talent placement, employer engagement, and job readiness.
- familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Strong network and ability to build new employer partnerships.
- Data-savvy and metrics-oriented
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using social media and digital tools for outreach, including HubSpot.

- Collaborative and flexible, able to work cross-functionally while driving independent initiatives.
- Strong communicator and effective mentor.

Compensation
- For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary range between $65,000/year and $70,000/year.
