About the role

The operational functions include revenue generation (headhaul / backhaul), invoicing/billing, safety, equipment maintenance monitoring and driver payroll.
Assigning drivers to loads by optimizing load information such as origination, destination, type of freight, number of miles, stops, directions, etc. with driver needs and availability.
This is done using the AS400 computer system, Qualcomm satellite, face-to-face communication and telecommunication.

Continually focus on driver training and driver retention by building and maintaining driver relationships through understanding and meeting driver needs.
Demonstrates a commitment to safety, with the support of corporate safety department, enforcing compliance with Federal, State and Organizational rules and regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

This must be accomplished in conjunction with meeting the key performance indicators (KPI's) established by the Dedicated Logistics Manager, Operations Manager and our Customer.
