About the role
- Athena Group Advisors Athena Group Advisors ("Athena") is the private multi-family office of an investment firm.
- Position Overview Athena is seeking a Senior Personal Assistant ("Senior PA") to join our dynamic and expanding team.
- This role reports to the Director of Property Management.
Responsibilities
- Research information and create comprehensive summaries of findings and analyses to provide recommendations and/or suggest potential next steps
- This is a unique opportunity to develop and lead a best-in-class hospitality and concierge function from the ground up.
- The Senior PA is responsible for delivering comprehensive lifestyle and concierge support across multiple UHNW principals within the family office.
- A key component of this role is cultivating and overseeing a curated vendor and partner network that powers the firm's concierge, travel, and lifestyle offering.
- Build detailed itineraries and manage all supporting documentation - visas, passports, travel insurance
- Manage the full guest experience from invitation through follow-up, reflecting each principal's entertaining style and standards
- Maintain an active network of relationships across luxury hotels, restaurants, private clubs, and cultural institutions
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience as a Personal Assistant or Lifestyle Manager supporting UHNW individuals or families, ideally within a family office or luxury hospitality service environment
- Proficiency with task management and communication platforms (Monday.com, Slack, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- This position must be based in the NYC area.
- This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Proven ability to manage multiple principals simultaneously with competing, fast-moving priorities
- Deep familiarity with luxury travel, private entertainment, and premium vendor ecosystems across key markets (NYC, Hamptons, Miami, Europe)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills - warm, confident, and polished with high-profile principals and their networks
- Highest standard of discretion, confidentiality, and judgment
- Experience mentoring or directing support staff
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel as client needs require
- This position may include prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Athena's policy requires all professionals to be in the office at least four days per week. This position may require the ability to be on-site at a client location on a more frequent basis, including weekend or after-house flexibility as circumstances dictate.

Compensation
- The base salary for this New York-based position ranges from $150,000 to $175,000, depending on experience, skills, and responsibilities.
- Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and the level at which the role is hired.
- In addition to the base salary, the role includes a discretionary incentive compensation program, and a full benefits package, including medical and life insurance, retirement plans, tax-free savings options, and access to other healthcare programs.
