A Stevedore / Longshoreman loads, unloads, moves, and secures cargo at the port.
This job follows clear work steps to improve safety, reduce mistakes, cut delays, and improve quality.
The role includes physical work, equipment use, inspections, and teamwork to keep cargo moving the right way every time.

Ability to follow standard procedures and do the job the same safe way each time.
Wear always required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Physical strength and stamina to lift, move, and handle cargo safely.
Attention to detail to follow work steps, check quality, and reduce errors.
Teamwork and clear communication in a fast-paced work environment.
Willingness to report problems and suggest better ways to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

Experience in port, shipping, warehouse, or logistics work.
Certification to operate equipment such as forklifts or cranes.
Basic knowledge of cargo records, counts, and inventory control.
Ability to speak English and Spanish.
Working Conditions:
Work is done outdoors in changing weather conditions.
The job is physically demanding and may include heavy lifting and moving large materials.
Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays based on shipping schedules.
