About the role

  • The LiftSystem Lifecycle Engineer will proactively identify threats and take steps to eliminate them before they cause events in the field.
  • Engaging in an environment of cooperation and collaboration in the Service Engineering team that extends to the rest of LiftSystem engineering, the Field Service Representatives (FSRs) and others supporting the LiftSystem.
  • Innovating to apply new ideas / techniques to solve technical problems, improve reliability, minimize cost, and reduce maintenance burden.

Responsibilities

  • The LiftSystem Lifecycle Engineering team provides technical support for in-service events and proactive analyses to ensure safe operation and to eliminate future customer disruptions.
  • These teams will include (but may not be limited to) component design, materials engineering, deployed services and program personnel.
  • Prior work in support of safety investigations (Red Tops) involving Rolls-Royce products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree in Engineering with 0+ years of relevant experience, or
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for this role
  • Experience and demonstrated capability in root cause investigation including evidence-based practices.
  • Strong system and module level knowledge of the LiftSystem and its interfaces.
  • Leading technical conversations in product level safety boards and in-service reviews with regulatory and airworthiness authorities as required.
  • Representing the Service Engineering Technical Lead and Chief Service Engineer (as required) internally and with customers while promoting a positive, professional image of Service Engineering and Rolls-Royce.

Compensation

  • $98,566 - $160,169-Annually
