About the role

  • Rockstar New York is on the lookout for a passionate Full Stack Engineer who considers software development to be a craft and possesses a passion for tackling complex problems.
  • This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.

Responsibilities

  • Develop features and applications utilizing C#, MSSQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript with React.
  • Collaborate with other teams across our global organization to implement solutions that enhance developer experience.
  • Online Tooling team is responsible for the architecture, foundational systems, and developing supported pathways to enable teams to create and maintain tooling to manage our online environment.

Requirements

  • A degree in computer science or 3+ years of equivalent experience in professional web development.
  • 3+ years of experience using React (TypeScript/JavaScript).
  • 3+ years of experience using C#.
  • 2+ years of experience with T-SQL.
  • 2+ years of experience with source control, preferably Perforce.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development processes.

  • Prior experience with Redis, MongoDB and automated testing.
  • Knowledge and application of web security best practices.
  • Experience or knowledge of authentication and authorization best practices.

Compensation

  • The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year.
