About the role
- This role is intended for a connected music industry executive with an established network of relationships throughout the entertainment industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop, qualify, negotiate, and close new business opportunities across all Manhead business lines in alignment with the Company's go-to-market strategy.
- Identify, qualify, and manage strategic opportunities from initial outreach through execution with the Chief Revenue Officer, Business Affairs, and other internal stakeholders.
- Develop commercial proposals and partnership structures that maximize value for both Manhead and prospective clients.
- Maintain a qualified sales pipeline capable of supporting the Company's growth objectives.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all business development activity within HubSpot.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful onboarding and execution of new client partnerships.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, management changes, artist lifecycle events, contract renewals, and other trigger events that create new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven success sourcing, negotiating, and closing high-value commercial partnerships.
- Strong understanding of the live entertainment, touring, artist management, and merchandise industries.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to evaluate commercial opportunities from both a revenue and profitability perspective.
- Willingness and ability to travel as business needs require.
- Travel will be required to support business development efforts.
Compensation
- Achievement of annual new business revenue objectives.
