- Position Overview The Animal Control PSM (Public Safety Monitor) will be primarily responsible for verifying persons entering convention spaces have the correct credentials for entry (for example, a convention badge).
Responsibilities
- Incident Reporting: Report and Document any breaches of policy or suspicious activities to the Animal Control Lead promptly.
Requirements
- Experience in event management and team leadership
- All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify lacking or counterfeit credentials or unauthorized access attempts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
- Preferred ability to stand for extended periods and perform duties in various weather conditions if required.
- This role requires standing for long periods and working in outdoor weather environments.
