About the role
- The Vehicle Maintenance department, which is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safety devices of all Steamboat Ski & Resort's motorized equipment is looking for a Slope Vehicle Shop Supervisor.
- If you have an interest in the root operations that keep a ski area running with mechanical and team experience related to heavy equipment, snowcat, vehicle, bus, and/or small engines, this might be the right fit for you!
- Assist with order and maintenance of parts inventory
Responsibilities
- Record and manage accurate repair orders in NAPA TRACS
- Maintain a clean and efficient workspace

Requirements
- Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system proficiency with associated diagrams
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk around for an extended period of time
- a successful motor vehicle record background check is required
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written
- Must meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have current Driver's license; a successful motor vehicle record background check is required
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear, and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Employee will be required to handle hazardous materials including diesel exhaust fluid, gasoline, etc.

Nice to have
- Metal working and fabrication (welding, cutting etc.) preferred
- Previous supervisory skills and experience preferred
Compensation
- $25.99 - $37.43 per hour
