About the role

  • Shift: Mid-Shift - Tues./Wed./Thurs./Fri. - 1pm - 11:30pm
  • The MRI technologist is responsible for producing quality MR images while providing optimal patient care and applying all principles of patient safety.
  • MRI technologists are expected to participate in on-going training and education relating to positioning, technique and MRI safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture, manage intravenous access, and administer medications as prescribed

Requirements

  • Other duties may be assigned as required.
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Skills

  • Radiologic Technology Graduate AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or MR Imaging
  • High School Graduate
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR
  • ARMRIT--MRI Technologist Certification within 180 Days
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) upon Hire
  • Radiography (R)
  • Computer Skills
