About the role
- Licensed Psychologist - Full-Time - Manhattan, NY - School Day Overview/Impact Are you a dedicated Licensed Psychologist passionate about supporting the mental health and academic achievement of students in Manhattan?
- Knowledge Road is seeking a full-time Licensed Psychologist to join our team and provide critical psychological services to students in NYC Department of Education (DOE) schools.
- This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adolescents through evidence-based psychological interventions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique developmental and cultural needs of each student.
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with DOE regulations, HIPAA requirements, and Knowledge Road standards.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services for children and adolescents.
- Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and teletherapy platforms.
- NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status required or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
- Documentation of your doctoral degree in Psychology.

- We are currently seeking candidates for full-time Licensed Psychologist positions in the Manhattan area.
- Schedule & Location:
- This is a full-time, school-day position with a schedule that follows the NYC DOE calendar. You will offer services on-site at one or more schools in Manhattan, with assignments based on student needs. Hours/week are driven by IESP/IEP mandates
- caseload may vary by assignment. Typically ~20-30 hours/week depending on placements.
Nice to have
- Specialized training in child and adolescent therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, play therapy, family therapy).
- Experience with psychological assessments and testing.
Compensation
- $75/hr (1099).
