Responsibilities
- Familiarity with test case design techniques and expected results validation.
- You'll work closely with system test specialists and cross-functional teams to support test planning, test case development, test execution, defect tracking, and verification activities.
- Document, track, and support the resolution of defects and issues in collaboration with developers and system engineers.
- These entry-level positions are ideal for someone passionate about quality assurance, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to real-world software projects that support and shape the present and future of Air Navigation Services in Canada.
Requirements
- Support test environment setup and validation, ensuring required preconditions and configurations are met.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in software or system testing, quality assurance, or validation activities
- Experience executing test cases and working with test plans, test scripts, and test procedures.
- Familiarity with software development and testing within Agile or team-based environments.
- Knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Skills
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to quality, safety, and attention to detail.
- Shows a strong work ethic and sense of accountability for results.
- Displays a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Typically conducted in a cubicle and/or open office and/or meeting room and/or lab environments using computer-based tools.
- Exposure to defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, IBM Jazz) and basic defect lifecycle processes.
Compensation
- $91,278 - $114,668
