About the role

You'll balance time between hands-on lab experimentation and field deployments at customer sites, ensuring reliable and high-quality camera integrations across diverse environments.
You'll be working at our new office in downtown Palo Alto, just a five-minute walk from the Caltrain station.
Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, and other network components used in image acquisition pipelines.

Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to understand imaging requirements, and evaluate and specify optimal image formation systems - including camera, lens, lighting, and supporting hardware - for various visual inspection use cases.
Experiment with and fine-tune these systems to optimize image and video quality.
How you'll be doing it You'll empower our engineers to build and deploy world-class visual inspection solutions to solve challenging business problems.

What you bring to the table Strong understanding of camera system pipelines and the tradeoffs between parameters and image quality.
You have prior experience in solutions, sales engineering, or other customer-facing technical roles.
You have experience integrating with downstream automation systems, including PLCs, Node-RED environments, MES, or SCADA platforms.
You have experience at a high-growth technology startup.
You have a high-level understanding of networking infrastructure and protocols such as GigE, GenICam, USBVision, and ONVIF.
