Responsibilities
- About the job: Develop accurate simulation models of power systems and power electronics(PSCAD, EMTP, Hypersim, OPAL-RT,RSCAD, etc.).
- Implement and validate simulation models to assess system performance under various scenarios and operating conditions.
- Huawei aims to support a French-speaking work environment for its employees in Quebec.

- Perform detailed analysis of power systems electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation results and provide insights into grid stability, fault response, and dynamic behavior.
- Collaborate with the research and development team to investigate emerging technologies and assist in preparing technical reports based on simulation findings.
- Strong experience in using EMT software (e.g., PSCAD, EMTP, Power Factory), real-time simulation platforms (e.g., RTDS, OPAL-RT, Typhoon HIL), or other simulation software (e.g., Simulink, PLECS) for power system/power electronics modeling and analysis.
