Responsibilities

  • Source materials, components, and services in support of engineering, manufacturing, and operational programs.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, supplier communication, and procurement tracking systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support production schedules and material requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Support vendor onboarding, quote requests, and pricing comparisons.
  • Maintain organized purchasing records, documentation, and procurement data.
  • Mach Energetics is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the sourcing and purchasing of materials, components, and services across programs.
  • You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure critical hardware and equipment are delivered on schedule and in support of company priorities.
  • This role manages purchase orders, vendor coordination, supplier communication, and procurement tracking while helping maintain efficient and organized purchasing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or operations functions.
  • Experience with purchasing systems, spreadsheets, or ERP platforms.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or hardware development programs.
  • Familiarity with technical purchasing, hardware procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and production schedules.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and material planning processes.
  • Experience operating in startup or rapid development environments.
  • This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
