About the role

The Learning & Development Manager will work closely with the Director of L&TD to further the organization's learning and development strategy.

Initiate in collaboration with pertinent Business or Corporate Function leaders the design, planning and execution of new and ongoing L&TD initiatives, including project management, registration, reporting, event logistics, materials management, and coordination of facilitators.
Develops and publishes interactive and engaging content for online and instructor-led delivery using a variety of media and applications, including but not limited to, facilitator guides, exercise materials, and job aids.
Collaborate across teams on communications planning and processes for L&D initiatives, including the development of communication plans, creation of communication and promotional materials, and facilitation of communication reviews.
Assess and evolve L&D processes for program design, implementation plans, deployment methods and effectiveness.
Provide support for in-person and virtual training programs as needed.

The L&D Manager will also facilitate training sessions, meetings, and focus groups to drive talent development in alignment with strategic objectives from senior leadership.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
At least 10 years of experience in L&D, Talent Management, Onboarding, or a related field.
Strong project management and change management skills with a track record of creating and implementing effective processes and managing multiple priorities.
Proactive and analytical problem-solver with experience in executing change management strategies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook) and adaptability to new technologies.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on customer service and active engagement.
Creatively uses available resources, tools and technology to achieve high-quality results.
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems and e-Learning Authoring Tools (Articulate 360 or other) is preferred.
Salary Information
To the extent this role is performed in New York City, the annual salary range is $150,000 - $160,000.

Develop and execute as part of the Learning Strategy, the planning and implementation of measurement processes to evaluate and report on L&TD metrics effectively.
