About the role
- Control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line.
- May be expected to handle heavy machinery.
- The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Report all accidents or near misses to Lead/Supervisor.
- Willing to support other production lines and assist Spray Operators.
- Proper and timely communication of equipment performance to Operators/Leads.
- Report any defects you encounter to Lead/Supervisor.
- Maintain, exhibit, and promote a safe, healthy and clean workplace.
Requirements
- Incumbent must be willing to work in hot and/or cold environments.
Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and with a group in accordance with the company safety & sanitation standards.
- Operate the department with written SOP's and work instructions.
- Cooperate, coordinate, and communicate with other shifts and site departments.
