- ChalkBooks is an AI-powered fundraising communication and donor management workflow software purpose-built for schools.
- Independent schools heavily rely on fundraising to run themselves, raising billions to give student scholarships and hundreds of billions to construct new buildings and remodel existing ones.
- At the same time, fundraising offices in independent schools operate much like sales offices in small/medium-sized businesses.
Responsibilities
- Prior experience designing, building, and shipping software used by millions of users
- Building vertical-specific software for fundraising offices in independent schools is a compelling, multi-billion-dollar TAM business opportunity.
- This legacy fundraising software misses the core job of improving the primary task of school fundraising: building stronger relationships with donors in less time.
- Therefore, there is a substantial opportunity to develop several exciting and challenging workflows to speed up and improve how things are done today with the ultimate goal of helping schools raise more.
- We are a team of builders deeply passionate about building intuitive, delightful, and helpful software to help schools become financially sustainable in the long term.
- We communicate openly and debate productively to develop the best possible solutions for our customers.

- 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer
