About the role

  • POSITION SUMMARY The LPN Float will be based in the Little Rock Market location.
  • Will triage patient calls for the center in order to prioritize medical care based on the severity of the patient's condition.
  • Includes preparing patients for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in their electronic health record.

Responsibilities

  • Implements age-appropriate interventions based on individual patient's needs as directed by the provider.
  • Perform suture/staple removal and dressing changes as indicated.
  • Manage/monitors providers clinical inbox in the EHR and triage as necessary per the direction of the provider.
  • Because we are not a fee-for-service provider and manage patients within a global capitation budget provided by Medicare Advantage plans, our only concern and motivation is to keep our seniors healthy.

Requirements

  • Minimum Nursing Experience: 5 years Minimum Management Experience: 3 years Minimum Certifications and/or Licenses: CPR and first aid certification required.
  • Experience with EMR.
  • Must be organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • IV Therapy Certification is required.
  • CPR and first aid certification required.
  • Make calls to pharmacy, diagnostic facilities, etc. as required by the Provider.

Skills

  • Demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients in geriatric populations.

Compensation

  • $75k-$100k
