About the role
- POSITION SUMMARY The LPN Float will be based in the Little Rock Market location.
- Will triage patient calls for the center in order to prioritize medical care based on the severity of the patient's condition.
- Includes preparing patients for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in their electronic health record.
Responsibilities
- Implements age-appropriate interventions based on individual patient's needs as directed by the provider.
- Perform suture/staple removal and dressing changes as indicated.
- Manage/monitors providers clinical inbox in the EHR and triage as necessary per the direction of the provider.
- Because we are not a fee-for-service provider and manage patients within a global capitation budget provided by Medicare Advantage plans, our only concern and motivation is to keep our seniors healthy.
Requirements
- Minimum Nursing Experience: 5 years Minimum Management Experience: 3 years Minimum Certifications and/or Licenses: CPR and first aid certification required.
- Experience with EMR.
- Must be organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- IV Therapy Certification is required.
- CPR and first aid certification required.
- Make calls to pharmacy, diagnostic facilities, etc. as required by the Provider.
Skills
- Demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients in geriatric populations.
Compensation
- $75k-$100k
